Tea Tea hopped into the pond. She bit off a shout. The water was cold! Giving herself a minute to get used to the chill, she surveyed the waterscape. The water seemed to only go up to her calves so far, but who knows how deep it gets near the middle. She determined a path to her net that would only take her through the shallow banks of the pond and took a deep breath... and started making an absolute racket while stomping and splashing her way towards her fishing net. Hopefully her antics will scare some of the fish right into her waiting net.

—𝓢𝓮𝓪𝓒𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓽 ✧・゚:*:・。The ducks were all present today as Danica baited her hook and settled in for a few hours of fishing. She kept a watchful eye on Arcturus to make sure he wouldn't chase the ducks, too. Danica had, by now, lost track of how many ducks looked to her. She couldn't fathom why—did she look like a duck?—but she had accepted her fate. "Don't scare away all the fish, now!" she warned the ducks, aware of the futility of trying to scold them. Danica was about ready to melt—it was unreasonably hot today for a late spring day. She'd gotten up early to do some baking while it was still cool, but now the house was unbearably warm even though the oven had been turned off. She found a shady patch by the river and cast her line, although she wasn't really expecting any bites. One, two, three, four...yes, that was all the ducks...Or so Danica hoped. Duck eggs were a delicacy, to be sure, and their feathers were pretty, but four ducks was so many. They'd started bringing her little pebbles they picked up in the river or pond or lake, and while she appreciated them, she tossed them back into the water when they weren't looking. She couldn't keep so many pebbles! A fish, on the other hand...

Saturn heads on out, feeling pretty refreshed and awake after a nice night of sleep. As she sets up her spot near the water, she ponders some of the dreams she had, smiling to herself, and then finally, casts her rod. Hopefully the fish are in as good a mood as Saturn is!

After walking her dogs Stevie headed to the fishing spot. Equipped by her fishing net she sat next to the water and patiently waited for anything to come...

Lethri frowned at the fishing rod. She'd never fished before, but she was on fishing duty today, since Danica was working with the vet to check over all the ponies. Hopefully she'd catch something? Her dog, Ophelia, sat patiently next to her, tongue lolling out of her grinning mouth.

Tea splashed her way onto the shore and laid down on the grass. She was both wet from pond water and sweaty; an unpleasant combination. But hey! She did manage to get some results! She happily collected her new fish and packed up to go home for the day. A hot shower is in order!
----------------
Tea was back! This time with Misu in tow. The cat wasn't very convinced about the wet all over the place and complained at her human. "But Misu, look! There are fish in the pond." The cat paused her yowling and peered at the water where her human pointed. Yes indeed... this is good cat TV. She settled down to watch the colourful fish darting around.

Will the fish bite today? That is, of course, always the question! Saturn isn't sure how the day will go, but she's come with snacks, her gear, and a fair amount of determination.

Danica propped her feet up on a fallen log that had been washed ashore, settling back into her chair as she prepared to cast her line. All of her ducks were paddling happily in the pond upstream, while she herself was posted at the creek in the shadow of a willow.

Tea gently extracted the fish from the net and lowered it into her big bucket. Misu padded over to give the fish a curious sniff before settling back down beside her human. "Nice work, Misu," she praised her cat while giving her a good chin scratching. Misu purred and went back batting at the water surface, probably for her own entertainment rather than in an effort to help her human.

Saturn is a little sleepy, but she heads on out to the fishing spot all the same. It's routine, at this point, and it's become an enjoyable part of the day. Even if she doesn't catch anything, it's a nice, relaxing way to spend a chunk of time.

After last time's catch Stevie decided to bring her gloves in case she catches some dangerous fish again. She got her net ready and prepared herself to spend a quiet time at the fishing spot...

Danica folded her hands and leaned back in her chair, tipping her hat forward so it wouldn't fall off. It was overcast today, but it didn't look like rain just yet, so she'd sit for a little longer hoping for a bite on her line.

Tea decided it was time for lunch. She fetched the basket she had brought with her today. Misu bounced up to the basket and meowed incessantly in anticipation of NOMS. Tea laughed and told the cat to sit before reaching in a retrieving the bundle of wet food she had prepackaged for her fur baby. Setting it down in front of her, Tea ran Misu through all her tricks and gave her the eat command. (Misu is very talented IRL!!!!) With her cat taken care of, Tea fetched her sandwich and settled back down next to her net.
