Danica pursed her lips, staring at the pair of ducks that now followed her like, well, ducklings. Well then.
She cast her line and sat down carefully, watching as the ducks waddled off and splashed into the water, although they didn't seem to be doing anything other than just...floating...

Feef was starting to feel a bit more confident with fishing now that she had managed to catch something. Perhaps a bit too confident though, as she had picked a spot she didn't see many other people around there. It could mean that this was a spot prime for the fishing, untouched by anyone else... or it could be abandoned for good reason, ignored by everyone else because there wasn't any fish there.

Saturn isn't quite feeling fully awake and energized this morning, but she heads on out to the fishing spot anyway. Maybe it'll help wake her up and ease into the day to do a bit of fishing, or, at least, fish-watching! Or maybe she'll just fall into the water. Endless possibilities!

Lottie grimaced in disgust after coming across a half-rotting fish carcass in the reeds. She wondered why no animals had eaten it—had the wretched thing died of disease, and the animals could smell it? Whatever the case was, she herself couldn't stand the smell of rotting fish, and she hiked further upstream to find a less putrid fishing spot.

A honking duck? Oh boy. Tea whistled for Valiant and decided it was probably time for them to head back home and get their new friends settled in.

It's a new day! And Tea and Valiant are back for another treasure hunting adventure. The pair took a leisurely walk around the pond to find a spot to settle in for the day.

Danica, quite pleased with her homemade lure, decided to try it again. Her ducks quacked softly as they waddled after her towards the river, wading straight into the water and foraging for pond greens as she set her chair up and selected a freshly made lure to give it a try.

Saturn, as usual, doesn't have much faith in her fishing skills, but all the same, she's happy to be out! The weather is lovely, and she's got some new lures to try out... a homemade recipe she found on Pinterest. Which, given the odds, probably means that they won't work at all. Still! It's a lovely day for fishing.

It seems the fish are just tossing themselves at Tea today! After checking for mud, Tea settled down with her trust net and settled down to read The Name of the Wind while waiting for the next fish to come along.
