I see my bunnies all foraging around me and watch them for a while.

Eventually, I get up and head towards a grove of trees.

I look around, realizing that there is SO much to explore here! I could spend days just in this grove!

I can't see any of my little friends. This worries me.

—𝓢𝓮𝓪𝓒𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓽 ✧・゚:*:・。It was time to check up on the saplings they had so carefully planted. Lottie saddled up Candor, who pulled at the reins as they left the yard and headed out to the field. Hopefully the saplings were doing well! Bellweather pulled at the bit as Danica guided him through the gate, backing him so that she could close it behind them. The black stallion was impatient and frustrated at being held back; he wanted to run, to jump! But Danica kept his reins short until they reached a clear stretch of good, flat ground, and then let him have his head. Once he burned off some of his energy, she wanted to circle back to take a look at the saplings. Some of them had showed signs of being dug up at the roots the last time she had checked them, and she wanted to make sure no animals were nibbling on their trees. A number of small bunny prints dotted the mud surrounding the saplings, as well as the cloven footprints of a deer, but the saplings themselves seemed untouched as Calliope circled them carefully. Lottie looped a halter over Allegro's head, intending to do some training with him out in the field to try and teach him voice commands. They were enormously helpful, both on and off the course! Lethri muttered darkly under her breath as she swept the field looking for Calliope's bracelet. Stupid thieving magpies... Danica stretched her shoulders as she wandered down the grassy hill, on her way to have a bit of a picnic in a sunny spot near the river, where she'd observed a bunny colony the other day. It was fun to watch them, and the spot she'd picked was far enough away that she shouldn't disturb them, either. Lethri scratched her head, trying to figure out if the tracks were from a cat, a fox, or a rabbit. No, she hadn't taken any kind of tracking class, why do you ask? She wasn't exactly an animal person—she loved Ophelia, but she'd never really paid much attention to any other animals. Either way, it was probably a rabbit. Probably. They didn't keep chickens in the garden, so there wasn't anything for predators to be interested in... Lottie drummed her fingers against her thigh as she surveyed the rabbit damage in the community garden, and pondered methods for keeping them out... Avery wandered through the field, breathing in the fresh air and feeling the tension of the last several weeks draining away. She'd been so busy, she hadn't had a chance to really spend some time alone outside, save for the occasional quick ride to move ponies from the pastures. A rustling on her left told her that a bunny or a bird, or perhaps a fox, had seen her and was trying to get away. She smiled indulgently and continued her ambling, stopping to pick a few wildflowers, which she tucked behind her ear. Lottie watched fondly as the Adastreia dogs gamboled about the field. She'd had her reservations, taking them all out at once, but now she was glad. She only hoped they didn't scare away all the wildlife. Calliope had packed herself a lunch and headed out to the field to do some weeding and general upkeep.

Suddenly I spot them and realize that they have some new friends! I sit on the ground and get acquainted with them.

Reaching home, I settle all my new friends in their new accommodations. After a couple of days, I restock supplies and head out again.
