And because I'd like to adopt a llama myself, I'm adding my entry.
Stevie finally finished building the new pasture. When she put the hammer down and looked back on the whole thing she felt so proud. The pasture was built from strong wooden logs in three rows, so the llamas will have no chance of running away. It's surrounded by trees from two sides so there will be enough shadow during hot days. There is also a little wooden shelter in case of a storm or heavy rain. She put automatic drinkers in all four corners and also nets for hay. The grass there is nice and tasty so hopefully llamas will love their new home. The pasture is not far away from horses' paddocks so they will be able to see other animals.

Becki took a little break and wiped her fringe with the back of her arm, avoiding using her hands caked with paint. The finishing touches were being put on the new extension, the stalls smelled fresh and clean and a stack of hay bales lay waiting for the first residents. Near the front and left of the extension was a clipping area, since the llamas would need a lot more coat upkeep! To the front right was a wall of shelves and mounts, ready to hold blankets, halters and wreaths. Yep, it was looking pretty good, hopefully the first stall would be filled soon! eee yay!

Saturn figures... llamas, why not! After all, she's always loved The Emperor's New Groove movie, and maybe she'll get one with Kuzco's personality! So she fixes up an area in preparation. Near to the horse barn, but with enough room for the llama's to make it their own. Saturn has painted the barn for the llamas blue, with white accents, and inside there's plenty of space to house the llamas, as well as their gear. Outside, each stall opens up to a pasture area so that the llamas can roam around and stretch their llamalegs. Saturn puts the finishing touches out front-- some flower boxes that hopefully any new arrivals won't try to eat. Perfect!

Some of the many relaxation activities offered at Asha Sanctuary are spinning and weaving workshops. They had sourced raw wool from a provider before, but Tea decided it's about time they really focused on conscientious animal husbandry. What better way to ensure that their raw wool came from happy animals than raising the animals themselves?! Tea had constructed a spacious 3-sided shelter with water troughs and hay in the grassy pasture she set aside for them. Hopefully that'll keep the llamas happy and sheltered from the elements!
